10 good things about the last 18 years

1. Brings back memories from birth day
1. Parents visiting along with baby brother-baby wasn't due for another month or so, looking at the "new" house
   
2. Temp outside 103 degrees
3. Guests lying on wooden floor because of no air conditioning see #2
4. Didn't think that baby was coming, just went in for a check up on the way for donuts because of small contractions and other stuff, said we'd be right back (middle of town ~12 miles away)

2. Who would have thought that we would have had such a beautiful daughter in such a short time
3. Had her for a constant companion for the first 5 years of her life
4. Worked in her school for the last 9 years, good for me, not so good for her
5. Had great music in the house, piano, bassoon, guitar, singing and other peoples too
6. Taught the hard way about independence-we wanted it for her, she wanted it too, somehow that didn't work out in our favor
7. Kept us young, being that we were older parents
8. Know now what real pride is, and it's wonderful
9. Was taught about loving children through her after 2 little boys taught me how to love her
10. Know that she is a gift from God and because of her I have become closer to my god and know that he sent his son Jesus to forgive me for all of my sins and to teach others that. I know as of today, she knows that too
