10 reasons for a weekend
- get to sleep in
- get to have the person next to you get up and make coffee
- get to do what ever you want to do-within reason
- get to visit with friends during the day
- get to go to church and learn something
- get to take naps, long naps
- get to enjoy the sunshine and the outside by sitting in my favorite room, the deck
- get to give free advise to family members and they still love you
- get to finally talk with daughter who doesn't call enough for me but way too much for her
- always know that all these things are possible through Jesus, who was sinless, but died on the cross to save us from our sin
Just 10 good things
- What a wonderful neighbor/friend Jeff was
- Acupuncture really works and the doctor is wonderful
- I have so much fun hanging out at quilt shows with my friend
- I guess I have lots of great friends
- I think of my sisters as my friends
- One of my sisters is a saint
- I've only seen my other sister mad maybe twice
- My family is really special, especially my folks who raised great kids who are raising great kids
- My husband is my best friend who knows all and has given me so much including the best little girl anyone could ask for
- 2 Corinthians 13:14 "May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."
10 reasons, okay good reasons for the empty nest syndrome
- Less laundry, amazingly less darks-I swore she was a colorful dresser must have been dark like
- Quieter house-that can be good and bad
- Brush your teeth in the morning without a machine gun beat coming from another room-called music?
- Husband will eat anything I make
- Husband makes most things we eat so more will be in my favor
- Less worry at night-yes she's gone but she's mature and using every brain cell she has to show how mature she is
- Don't have to wake up so early M-S
- Don't have to get to work so early
- Have a new subject to discuss with people "We took our daughter to college...."
- Daily thank God for this wonderful gift he gave us and try to remember Mother's advise-"Let her guardian angel do some of the work"
